--Keep your Independence
Everyone at Ablaze are Independent Contractors which means we issue 1099’s instead of W2’s at the end of the year for your taxes (no we do not deduct taxes). We do not require exclusivity. All we ask is you let us know if you’re working somewhere else or on your own. Want to take a long vacation, just let us know in advance and no problem. Your work will be here when you get back.
--Flexible Hours
You give us the hours you’re available to work and we do our schedule based on your availability and the needs of the office. Because most of our clients are walk-in without appointments, we do ask contractors to stay at the office during their scheduled shift.
--You keep your Tips
We do not divide or take any portion of your cash tips. You are responsible for reporting your tips.
--Family Friendly
We won’t fire or threaten your job for taking time off to care for a sick child or leaving shift on a family emergency. We will accommodate.
--School Friendly
We encourage all our people on self-improvement & education. Our Utmost priority is our service to our clientele but during slow times we want our contractors to be doing something positive & constructive for themselves, whether it’s studying or marketing themselves.
